I heard about Terra Pass from my alumni group since the organization started as a Wharton MBA class project. Since I do quite a bit of driving my daughter around, I wanted to find something to offset my emissions so I bought a Terra Road Pass (they also have passes for air travel and home emission). The site allows you to pick which kind of pass, calculate your emission and different level of pass membership depending on how much emission you want to offset. The funds go to funding clean energy projects - which you can find the complete list on the site. All can be done online and then a "pass" and decal comes in the mail (even though I could have done with just a e-pass myself). However, it makes me feel that I am at least trying to negate some of the environmental impact I pose just doing everyday things like picking up my daughter from school.
