I have been buying the Preserve toothbrushes for me and for my family for a couple of years. They are actually not expensive at all, compared to the regular toothbrush brands. I like that the toobrush head is soft and the handle has just the right curve. Also it came with an individual case that can be recycled. The Preserve's handle has been made from 100% recycled plastics with at least 65% recycled caps from yogurt containers. Basically from recycled material and recyclable post use. Two suggestions for the manufactureres: 1) make some cool and funky colored handles to stand out; 2) Make it VERY clear to consumers how and where to recycle. For a year, I thought that I could throw the used toothbrushes into our regularly recyling bin. Not so, you need to mail them back to the company to recyle.
