I bought this moisturizing creme because I had been meaning to switch to non-petroleum based lotions and potions. But I have to report that I am not happy with how it spreads on. The creme does not go on my face smoothly; I have to work it to make sure it is even. I will not buy this particular product again, but I am willing to try another brand of non-petroleum lotion or creme.

In experimenting with more organic natural beauty products, I tried a number of Burt's Bees products. This facial moisturizer is okay for the face but not ideal. I think the scent is stronger than I would like and it doesn't seem to go on easily. I stopped using it for my face after a couple of tries, but it works great for elbows and knees! I don't think I would buy it again as a facial moisturizer but I think I like this as a super moisturizer for other parts of the body that get very dry. In fact, I like it better than the Burt's Bees hand salve. The hand salve doesn't stay on nearly as well and has a very scentful smell that I'm not particularly fond of.
