Bought Dr Bonner liquid soap because it was recommended by many green magazines and websites. I hate to say this but we just did not like the soap, for a couple of reasons: 1) It is hard to wash off the soap with the regular tap water, so we end up wasting a lot of water everyday. 2) We tried to reuse the soap bottle (the pump kind) and Dr Bonner liquid soap was not viscous enough and every pump shoots the soap all over the place (kids definitely cannot use it). 3) When I make my clean solutions by mixing this soap with vinegar, the mix becomes cloudy with solid particles. It means I have to buy a different soap for that purpose. As much as I like the idea of organic and fair-trade ingredients, I will not buy this soap again.

We love Dr Bonners soap and use it for just about any type of cleaning: washing hands, cleaning the floor, scrubbing tubs and sinks. Cuts grease easily without weird chemicals in it. The peppermint scented one smells very mild and pleasant. Try it for your shower stall too.

We have natural stone (marble and travertine) tile material in our showers. We were told that we cannot use any of the standard type of household cleaners (which we don't use many of anyway) to clean this type of material as it would etch the stone.  This particular Dr. Bonner's was suggested to us to use as a cleaner.  When I bought it, I used it several times to clean my grout and tile and it seemed to work alright, although I was never really sure if it was my elbow grease that cleaned the surfaces or the soap!  I decided to try the soap for use as a hand soap and shower soap, and I agree with the reveiwer that states it is hard to rinse off and I felt that I was wasting water.

My overall feeling about this product is that although I like the concept of it, I think I would keep it with my camping gear and find a different green product for use in the  house.
