Why I shop there: 1) the store is small enough and well organized so that I can quickly navigate through, 2) they carry some of my favorite organic or specialty products (like Wallaby organic yogurt), 3)they have plenty of check out lines which move fast, 4) friendly helpful staff that are easy to find if you need something, 5) their produce and shelves are well stocked every time I'm there so I find what I need, 6) good sandwiches and sides at the deli (like leg of lamb sandwich). Prices are reasonable --- proabably a little higher than a Safeway or Albertsons but lower than a Whole Foods, and, they are pretty good about putting items on sale. By reviewer cchen 2006-11-30 13:39:36Piazzas is a good place to get a wide selection of organic items and it has a dedicate section for natural and organic health & beauty items too. Their conventional items can be a bit pricey even though the organics seem comparable to WholeFoods or Mollie Stone's. I can never resist their deli and salad counter for a quick lunch option - even though the deli line can get long during lunch hour. It's pretty well stocks for the space it has and is a nice neighborhood store with some of the slickness of a large grocery store. Report this review |
