By reviewer greenmom22 2006-12-04 17:04:36After reading about not all organic milks are the same, I started to question the private-labeled milks, including TJ's. I decided to ask the store manager directly to see where they source their dairy products. The manager at the Los Altos store told me that around here (bay area), Trader Joe's milk comes from either Straus or Clover. I did not ask about yogurt and cheese. TJ does not publish where to source their products, but if customers ask, they are willing to provide the information. Love that. I'd also be interested to hear what other Trader Joe's responses are about their milk source. Report this review Your take
By reviewer cecilia 2007-02-27 21:42:37The biggest plus for Trader Joe's private label organic milk is the price. I've found the fat free one to be average in taste. I haven't asked the San Rafael store manager where the milk is sourced from but the ones I've bought certainly didn't taste like Straus or Clover, both are great, consistent quality products.
