These are the best environmentally conscious disposable diapers that I could find in terms of performance. In contrast to the Tushies, these never leaked for me, and seemed pretty comfortable on the baby.

Normally, I use cloth diapers but these are my first choice for disposables. No leaking, they fit better now with the new design, and a decent environmentally conscious choice.

Although a little pricer than non-eco brands, we have been very happy with them since switching from cloth. As far as I know, they are as green as can be expected for a disposable. Sometimes finding the size you are looking for is difficult and I have only seen them at Whole Foods or other like-minded stores - online may be a more price-efficient option. They work great though for my daughter. Only wish they sold them in larger quantities.
