I only shop there occasionally these days because it is just too expensive for what it is. For me Mollie Stones, at least the one in Palo Alto is stuck in the middle - not quite a neighborhood store (for that I go to JJ&F), not quite a pure organic store (for that I go to country sun), not quite a big store with ample selections (for that I go to Whole Foods). So it is basically an expensive store with some interesting stuff. Quality of the products there is pretty good and services are not bad. But these days I only grab a sandwich or a chocolate bar there when I happen to be in the vicinity. Personally I'd prefer to give my weekly grocery fund to Mollie Stones than to Whole Foods, but the business model there needs to be different to bring me back.
