Your take
By reviewer shopper6387 2006-10-01 22:39:45Shopping at Lunardis always makes me feel like part of the neighborhood since I seem to bump into someone I know every time. They are always friendly to my child and the bakery gives kids a free cookie when they come in (not always a good thing but it does keep them occupied). I think their meats and fish are much fresher than the larger chain stores around here and they have generally have better produce. The selection of canned and frozen goods aren't as varied as I'd like but they do have all the brands I like, just not always all the flavors. The prices are generally higher than the national chains but not by much. Report this review Your take
By reviewer cstudt 2006-11-29 09:01:02Although a small chain, Lunardi's feels like a great neighborhood market. Their stores tend to be a bit smaller, so they may not have quite as many selections of any given product, but I am always able to find everything I need. The produce and meats are top quality, and the butchers are very helpful. Overall, doing all my shopping at Lunardi's tends to be only slightly more expensive than Safeway-- a small price to pay for the excellent quality and service. Report this review |
