This is my neighborhood store. When I want to get organic meat, but dont want to deal with the craziness in Whole Foods, I go to Andronicos. It has friendly staff and the store is always clean and well organized. They have a variety of green products, like cleaning products and body/skin care products, though the variety is not very expansive. The staff there have great attitude, but are not necessarily knowledgeable about green products. One time I had a chat with the meat guy asking why they did not carry grass-fed beef. He said it was because no one liked it and surely he did not like it. I asked if he had ever tried, and his answer was no. In any case, recently I saw they started selling grass-fed beef. That is a good start, I suppose. Also recently they started selling Andronico reusable shopping bags. Glad to see that trend.
