Blog Carnival: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
September 14, 2007

Posted by OrganicpicksTeam in : Communities , trackback

We at Organicpicks love to learn about new ideas and real life experiences on how we can Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. To us, the 3 R’s represent an important path to a better environment because these actions are DOABLE by anyone, wealthy or otherwise. We’ve been doing regular Gems from Others but are excited to start a new Reduce, Reuse & Recycle Blog Carnival. So if you have (or have found) thoughts, tips, recipes, resources or any other relevant posts/articles, please let us know. Some carnival details:
3RCarnival

Submission Deadline: the 10th and 25th of each month for consideration in the upcoming issue. Please send the post link (and one sentence description) to 3Rcarnival@organicpicks.com.

Carnival Publish Dates: twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month

Special considerations: We are opened to anything that is relevant to the Reduce, Reuse & Recycle theme but are especially fond of actions or ideas that have been tried or tested. Oh yeah, and anything that helps reduce the consumption of plastic will probably earn a gold star from CindyW!

We look forward to hearing from all of you!

How exciting! Certainly an area I need more growth in.

We purchase our household cleaners and body care products in concentrated formulas from an environmentally responsible company.

That’s great Regina. Thanks for your input and check out our upcoming carnival at end of the month!

Hey, I forgot to mention that by purchasing concentrated formulas we go through fewer plastic bottles. I love how 1) 16 oz bottle of concentrated cleaner makes 4) 24 oz bottles of cleaner. Yeah!! : )
